This extensive campaign experience gives him a strong understanding of the political dynamics, competing priorities and regional considerations that influence decision-makers, both during elections and throughout a government's mandate.
Beyond his time in government, Jonathan has advised clients on government relations and public affairs strategies across Ontario, British Columbia, Alberta and at the federal level. His experience navigating multiple jurisdictions allows him to connect regional realities with national policy priorities, anticipate political and regulatory challenges, and develop effective engagement strategies that advance clients' interests.
At Compass Rose, Jonathan brings a practical, politically informed approach to government relations, combining policy expertise with an understanding of the drivers of decision-making.
Born and raised in a small town in rural Ontario, Jonathan champions the diverse communities and regional perspectives that shape Canada's political landscape.
