Lead Public Affairs Counsellor

Julia Le joins the Digital Government and Procurement practice at Compass Rose following a distinguished tenure leading Ontario’s Cyber Security Centre of Excellence. Throughout her time in government, she engaged across the provincial public service, broader public sector, and intergovernmental tables to deliver strategic advice and drive key partnerships required to enhance cyber resilience while advancing modern digital service delivery for Ontarians.

Drawing on her extensive experience across all levels of government, she has held progressive positions in key areas including cyber security, innovation & economic development, and immigration. In 2023, Julia received the Women in Leadership Award for establishing vital government partnerships and advancing Ontario’s cyber security agenda.

Julia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Law and Society, with a minor in Criminology from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Master of Public Policy from the University of Waterloo. When she’s not navigating the world of cybersecurity and government policy, Julia can usually be found discovering Toronto’s newest restaurants, planning her next adventure, or spending time with her two very spoiled dogs.
