Nabiha Bilgrami

Public Affairs Coordinator

Nabiha Bilgrami is a Public Affairs Coordinator with experience in government relations and a deep interest in law, public policy and the growing role of artificial intelligence in government. She enjoys helping clients understand the policy landscape around them and how government decisions will shape their work. With a background in legal research and writing, Nabiha brings clarity and care to the briefings and materials she prepares.

Prior to Compass Rose, Nabiha was a registered lobbyist and government relations intern at a Canadian health public affairs firm. There, she coordinated Hill Day meetings with Members of Parliament and Senators, drafted the firm’s health policy newsletters distributed to more than 200 healthcare professionals and stakeholders, and led the planning of a high-profile reception for parliamentarians and senior officials.

Nabiha earned a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in law from Carleton University, concentrating in business law with a minor in professional writing. During her time at Carleton, she worked across more than 10 university departments, earned a spot on the Dean’s Honour List and received a Certificate of Achievement for her faculty and student leadership.

Beyond her client work, Nabiha is co-authoring a legal research paper on artificial intelligence. In her free time, she loves getting lost in a good novel and often goes horseback riding with her sisters.
